You throw a party every month. What do you like to wear?
Usually a blazer with a tie and jeans. Since it’s been hot, I might wear a light lavender shirt, maybe a cream colored blazer, indigo-wash jeans with wine-ish brown colored shoes.
Do your events have a dress code?
Yes—you’ve got to come fly! We throw parties and happy hours for diverse professionals and we try to emphasize class and etiquette. So no gym shoes, baggy jeans, or ball caps.
Define “fly.”
It’s a lifestyle. It’s about being a good father, friend, and employee, and elevating yourself personally, professionally, and financially.
Your car is definitely fly.
It’s a 1988 BMW 535i. My father and I are restoring it.
Were do you usually shop?
The Gap, Banana Republic, H&M—I love K&G Fashion Superstore in Springdale and Express for their Producer pants. Aldo for shoes. They look good and they last.
Anything you’ve crossed off your wish list lately?
I just got an EVO phone from Sprint. It’s a 4G Android based phone. It has a webcam so I can Skype from it, and it’s a lot easier to send group texts.
Finish this sentence: “It’s not a party until...”
I hear “Come to Me” by Sean Diddy Combs. At all my events, that gets played.
