Accessories are where Cincinnatians like to experiment with trends, and 2010 is proving to be an interesting year. You’re probably already noticing the following trends. If not, that's okay; we've gathered some examples from local shops.

Birds, birds and more birds, including owls, Charley Harper’s cardinals, nests and eggs.

Pattern. We’re going to be seeing two things: clean, contemporary geometric designs at one end of the spectrum and exquisitely elaborate designs (like Moroccan-inspired motifs) on the other. The midpoint between the two styles—the Baroque-inspired scrolls in Mod colors—is still in the stores right now, and that’s what got us ready to handle the heavy pattern that’s coming.
