2009 Social Datebook Launch PartyJames Free Jewelers and Cincinnati Magazine co-hosted a
launch party for the "Social Datebook" publication where guests
mingled with designer Charles Krypell, sampled New Orleans-inspired
refreshments and high-fived an orange & black-striped Bengal.
The event also did double-duty as a fundraiser, raising over $12,000 for the
Marvin Lewis Community Fund.
Chef Renee Schuler and her culinary team at "eat well" served such
goodies as bite-size chicken and waffles, Creole crab salad and bananas foster
parfaits. Ketel One and Nuvo provided the evening's signature cocktails. And
event furniture was courtesy of Accent on Cincinnati.

2009 Chili & Corn FestOver 400
subscribers attended the debut "Chili & Cornbread Fest" proving
that yes, chili is a popular, year-round dish. The event was held at the Three
Chimneys Clubhouse and Design Home at The Vintage Club in Montgomery. "Chili & Cornbread
Fest" was presented by Brooks Beans and Cincinnati Magazine with support
from Martha White and Husman's. Guests sampled chili from Eckerlin Meats, Melt,
Palomino, Paula's Café and Skyline. Chili fans also raved about original
dishes, featuring Brooks Beans, created by students from the Midwest Culinary
Institute at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College. Bulleit bourbon,
Michelob Ultra, Budweiser and Tradewinds provided drinks. And goody bags
offered treats including Husman's snacks, a Martha White spatula, rolls of Tums
and for the spill-prone, a mini Tide to Go stain remover pen.

2009 Sunspot Pool & Spa Summer Holiday PartyCincinnati Magazine subscribers celebrated the many holidays of June at
SunSpot Pool & Patio's newly expanded showroom of stylish outdoor
furniture. In recognition of National Iced Tea Month and National Dairy
Month, guests enjoyed ice cream from United Dairy Farmers and sweet and
flavored iced teas from Tradewinds. Ketel One martinis were served to
salute National Dry Martini Day. And Elegant Fare's event menu -
inspired by many food-themed holidays - included homemade strawberry
shortcakes, papaya & mango salsa, smoked turkey spirals and other

2009 May Hometown Favorites Launch PartyOver 300 guests joined Cincinnati Magazine to celebrate
May’s “Hometown Favorites” issue at Mariemont Inn in Mariemont. Guests explored the Mariemont Inn’s beautiful new rooms and
suites while enjoying samples from some of Cincinnati’s most popular spots. Aglamesis
Bros. and United Dairy Farmers dished up some of their most popular ice cream
flavors, and UDF showed off their vintage “Little Dipper” ice cream truck.
Glier’s Goetta and Avril-Bleh & Sons Meat Market set up grills outside
to prepare goetta sliders and sausages, Camp Washington Chili served up their
famous coneys, LaRosa’s treated guests to many varieties of their famous pizza
and Busken Bakery displayed donuts and Smiley Face cookies. The National
Exemplar served creative and delicious hors d'oeuvres and the Sweeterie shared
delicious cupcakes and cookies. Guests also viewed a 2009 Maserati Grand
Turismo S and lined up to enjoy Ketel One Vodka martinis served from a sleek

2009 Eco Chic II In celebration of Mother Earth and Mother's Day, Cincinnati
Magazine welcomed over 250 subscribers to Marvin's Organic Gardens for
"Eco Chic II." Guests sampled hors d'oeuvres from
"eat well" while enjoying drinks at an organic wine &
martini bar. Rita Heikenfeld and Leslie Shimer hosted culinary and gardening
seminars to enthusiastic audiences while staff from The Soapbox Soap Company
(located in Lebanon) demonstrated soap making. And Farm Fresh Delivery shared
wonderfully sweet strawberries with guests who visited their display to learn
more about the company's year-round home delivery of organic produce and

2009 1 Night, 12 Kitchens The Midwest Culinary Institute (MCI) at Cincinnati State
was thedestination for food and wine lovers who came to celebrate
the 5thanniversary of 1 Night, 12 Kitchens. The
event raised funds forCincinnati State College Foundation culinary scholarships. While exploring the school's teaching kitchens and culinary
labs, guestssampled dishes including miniature bone-in filet over
braised pork fromJag's Steak and Seafood, quail egg stuffed raviolo carbonara
from BOCARestaurant Group and smoked trout and avocado salad from
Nectar. Many guests kicked-off their culinary weekend with a private
dinner atThe Summit Restaurant at MCI. The dinner featured the
talents of MasterChef Peter Timmins of The Greenbrier, Master Chef John Kinsella
of MCI and Jerry Comfort, wine educator for Beringer. 1 Night, 12 Kitchens is produced by

2009 Fashion with Passion Macy's and Cincinnati Magazine hosted over 300 guests at Fashion
with Passion. This spring fashion show featured women's and men's apparel from
I.N.C, plus savvy advice from style expert Laurie Wilson. Guests also picked up a fashion tip from Cincinnati Parks
Board Superintendent Gerald Checco, who stopped by to talk about the 2009
Butterfly Show at Krohn Conservatory. For those visiting the show (which runs
through June 21), Checco suggested wearing bright colors that mimic flowers in
order to attract the exotic butterflies from India. Gift baskets featured fragrance samples of Daisy, the new

Cincinnati Magazine hosted the
area's premier dental professionals and
their staff at a "Top Dentists" reception. The event was held at
Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery. Guests enjoyed Ketel One
martinis and NUVO, a French sparkling liqueur while sampling seared duck breast
rolls, raspberry brie custard tartlets and black & white sesame-crusted
salmon from catering partner Elegant Fare. The BMW Store served as exclusive

2009 Top LawyersCincinnati Magazine welcomed 130 guests to the SuperLawyers
and Rising Stars reception at Richter & Phillips Jewelers. Guests
sampled seared roast tenderloin of beef roulades, sake-cured Atlantic salmon
and shrimp cocktail with housemade cocktail sauce and fresh horseradish, all

2008 Holiday Fusion Cincinnati Magazine produced Holiday Fusion, a cocktail
event held at The Party Source in Bellevue,
Kentucky. Cincinnati Magazine
readers, EQ at The Party Source guests, and Cincinnati young professionals learned how to
shake and stir sophisticated drinks, and culinary instructors from EQ at The
Party Source gave tips for preparing festive holiday appetizers. Guests sampled drinks from Cruzan Rum, VOX Vodka, Knob
Creek, Woodford Reserve, Korbel, Beringer, and Goose Island Beer. Guests voted for their favorite young professional group
during the event. The YP group with the most votes was Give Back Cincinnati,

2008 Best of the CityOver 300 guests joined Cincinnati
Magazine to celebrate December's Best of the City issue at D zin in DeerfieldTownship.
While exploring D zin's room settings and furniture assortment, guests sampled
food and drink from Best of the City winners Take the Cake, Rue Dumaine,
Grippo's, Yagööt, The Party Source, Café Bella, El Meson Restaurant, Donna's
Gourmet Cookies, Corwin Peddler and Miyoshi.
Partygoers also picked up goodies from the Best of the City honorees Ulta and
Marvin's OrganicGardens.

2008 Macy's Fashion with Compassion Macy's, Cincinnati Magazine and
the Cincinnati Art Museum hosted the 2nd annual
"Fashion with Compassion." Over 300 guests enjoyed the fashion show
featuring women's and men's fashion from I.N.C along with commentary from style
expert Laurie Wilson. The evening had an Asian flair in celebration of the Cincinnati Art Museum's "China Design
Now" exhibition. Oriental Wok provided refreshments, offering guests
traditional favorites in Chinese take-out boxes.
Goody bags featured fortune cookies, sandalwood soaps, silk change purses,
fragrance samples from Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker and a special savings
certificate from Oriental Wok.

2006 Tastes of the WorldMore than 700
people attended the 3rd Annual "Taste of the World Wine & Beer
Festival" to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The event was
held at The Newport Aquarium and raised more than $75,000 to support the
Society's mission to cure blood cancers and improve the quality of life for
patients and their families.
2006 Holiday FusionCincinnati Magazine
produced Holiday Fusion, a fundraiser for the Katrina Collaboration, on Friday,
November 24. Nearly 200 guests visited EQ and The Party Source to support the
organization and sample great party food and cocktails. Q102's Jennifer Fritsch,
the evening's official "Cocktail Queen," hosted the Cocktail
Shake-Off, a competition to determine the evening's best cocktail.
